A consistent look is important but does need to be expensive. I woould avoid buying used furniture. In the past, I budgeted $350 per employee for a desk, chair and small file cabinet from IKEA. Their stuff looks great, lasts a long time, and is very functional
It all depends if you get your used office furniture from a reliable source as often used items can be of better quality. Ikea, I have to say stock some really good office furniture though.
well, i would recommend buying modern furniture. They are not that expensive as some might think, there are stores that offer cheap furniture
